Yerba Mate Union Original 500g

Union Original is the mild, easy-going choice in the Las Marías family. It is a traditional Argentine yerba mate with stems (“con palo”), which makes the cup smooth and gentle rather than sharp — a good first pack if you are new to mate, and a pleasant everyday yerba if you are not.

Taste and character

• Smooth, fresh and mild, with light green, vegetal notes typical of Argentine mate
• Con palo: the small stems soften the bitterness and keep the infusion round
• Lasts for many refills before the flavour fades

Good to know

• Packed in a 500 g pack — roughly three to four weeks of daily mate for one person
• Use it hot in a gourd, or cold as tereré on a summer day
• Pairs well with a stainless bombilla and a ceramic or insulated cup

New to mate? Fill the gourd two thirds, add a splash of cool water, then pour 70–80 °C water — not boiling — and sip slowly.
